The W201, amongst enthusiasts also know as the “Baby Benz”, managed to proof itself a great succes against the expectations of Mercedes-Benz themselves. Nowadays the W201 is a Mercedes-Benz model that finds enthusiasts in all age categories.
This pristine specimen was originates from Germany and features a completely known history. On the 11th of april 1986 the car was ordered by an employee of the traffic department of the Rems-Murr-Kreis municipality (Baden-Württemberg) and was delivered almost exactly a year later on the 10th of april 1987. It was not long in his possesion as he sold it to the then vice mayor of Essen in 1988. He owned the car until its export to the Netherlands in 2015 and evidence suggests he was an enthusiast as well. The car is well maintained and all documents the originally come with a new car are present. Which is not only all original manuals and the service booklet, but also 3 data cards, which is extremely rare to have, all 4 keys and the original purchase invoice of 1986. Next to a complete history driving comfort is also very much present. The much rarer 2.3 engine in combination with the 5-speed manual allows you to drive the car sporty, but at the same time offers the comfort as we are used to from Mercedes-Benz. The previous owner had us take car of several big maintenance and repairs making this car ready for the future ahead. Documentation of these repairs is present.
